People with a little imagination should know that the purpose of people’s pursuit of knowledge is to get as close to the truth as possible, not to show off among people, or look down on themselves. Indeed, in the process of comparing knowledge between people, a person cannot achieve the goal of increasing his own value by maximizing the devaluation of others, and between the two there is no necessary causal relationship, much less a positive correlation.
This is the most typical phenomenon of “jealousy” in the sense of human nature. As long as there is a “confrontation of knowledge” between people in every sense, both sides have a persistent “jealous personality” in the context of sense. Years ago, I realized that the most insignificant phenomenon in the darkness of human nature is this type of jealous personality, which is not only useless but also seems to be beyond stupidity.
